We do this together with a strong network of environmental partners and media organisations, including Vogelbescherming Nederland, NABU, National Trust, Natuurpunt, and media partners such as De Vogelspotcast.
To further strengthen our visibility, authority and impact, we are looking for a Partner & Social Media Marketeer; someone who thrives on earned media, meaningful partnerships and compelling storytelling around nature, biodiversity and our products. In this role you will work across all 10 countries, with a strong focus on the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Your Role
As Partner & Social Media Marketeer, you are responsible for increasing Vivara and CJ Wildlife’s visibility through earned media, PR storytelling and social activation. You have a strong sense for news opportunities and know how to connect current events to our mission and products, turning them into relevant and newsworthy stories. You actively build relationships with journalists, media partners and environmental organisations, positioning Vivara and CJ Wildlife as a trusted authority in biodiversity and nature-friendly gardening. You will report to the Growth Director and collaborate closely with marketing, content and e-commerce teams to accelerate the growth and impact of our brands.
What will you do?
• Develop and execute PR strategies across our international markets
• Increase earned media visibility in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and media partners
• Contribute to the development and activation of our environmental partner network
• Identify newsworthy moments, trends and relevant hooks in current events
• Translate these opportunities into press moments, campaigns and collaborations
• Write press releases, media pitches and partner stories
• Translate PR moments into engaging social media content and storytelling
• Monitor and analyse media performance and brand visibility
• Work closely with marketing, content and e-commerce teams
Who are we looking for?
You are a curious and communicative professional who enjoys building relationships and telling stories that create impact.
You have:
• At least 2 years of experience in PR, communications or social media
• Demonstrable experience with earned media and media relations
• An international mindset (experience with NL, DE and/or UK markets is a plus)
• Excellent fluency in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
• A proactive, creative and results-driven approach
• Affinity with nature, gardening or sustainability (a strong plus)
